DNS maintenance by provider

There was a short downtime, which caused the API to not respond when called from some regions. The cause of the downtime was maintenance performed by the DNS provider. The status page showed a longer duration, but from our records the total downtime was between 3-12 min in the interval 23:00-00:00 UTC. This is a separate issue that we will fix (i.e. synchronization between the status page and the solution used to perform the checks).

We will keep monitoring this during the weekend. If the DNS issue should occur again, we will switch over to a different provider.
